I have three new pieces-- two have landed at Spooky Time Jingles and one piece is going to ODACA for their annual convention on July 18th at the Chicago Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago. There will be items donated by ODACA atists that can be purchased through a raffle ticket. The Green Witch is my donation.
All of my work is One of A Kind (OOAK) never to be created again...I get bored very easy, so that is why this is the journey I decided to travel with my creations. These three pieces were a joy to create and now my brain is tired and my muse cannot see anything new right now....hope I can get started again...I have some ornaments to make..
The Green Witch is sculpted out of puppen fimo and painted; her wings are made of muslin over wire and painted with cloth clay and then acrylics. Her base is a combination of mosaic tiles, beads and decorated with apoxie clay.
The Snow Angels...this piece is sculpted entirely out of paper clay over a very strong wire armature. The moon has been painted and crackled and the angels are covered with German glass glitter and tiny iridescent baubles. Larger glass baubles are on the base with the stars and the entire base has been covered with vintage mica....
Mister Pumpkin Head...I love pumpkin heads and this one is so special. He is 12" and sculpted from paper clay over a strong wire armature. I dressed him in vintage black velvet and hand dyed silk gauze. His staff is paper clay over a heavy wire. The base is painted and decorated with apoxie clay.
